Natural Beauty Centre

A sense of opulence and luxury was created in the reception area

It was glamour all the way for this fitout! Located in the Garema Centre in Canberra City, the Natural Beauty Centre (NBC) provides treatments like facials, massage, manicures and spray tans.

Screenmakers worked with designer Sam Behr to create stylish signs to be placed in the salon itself and around the Garema Centre.

The black and purple ornamental painting-style sign behind the reception desk was acrylic back-printed in 6mm gloss acrylic and wall-mounted. It gives a sense of luxury when combined with the chandelier and floral reception desk.

Outside the salon’s door is an ornate sign suspended by two chain fittings on a cantilevered arm. Router-cut to shape and made out of 12mm PVC, the sign was two-pack painted in black and given a thin clear coating to finish.

To direct clients to the NBC from downstairs, a directional sign was made from back-printed acrylic and mounted with stand-off fittings.
