Screenmakers created a spectacular large-format mural, which covers the back wall of the viewing platform, and features a timeline and descriptive information about the Cotter Dam.Eight equal-size (1200mm W x 2000mm H) graphic panels make up this impressive 9.6m wide mural.
The panels were recessed router-cut out of 5mm linished aluminium, then pre-treated with a clear undercoat. They were direct flatbed-printed with special double and triple strikes for certain areas. The panels were then clear satin matt over-coated in an extra-heavy finish for durability. A special fabricated curved frame was made to fix the panels to the platform post, and the graphic panels were mounted on the frame with tamper-proof fixings.
