The Prime Minister's Awards for Excellence in Community Business Partnerships are awarded annually to partnerships between community and business organisations that have generated positive long-term outcomes for the community.
The awards at the state and territory level are divided into three categories: small, medium and large business.
Nine national finalists are chosen in November from the state and territory winners. Winners are announced each December.
Designed by the Swell Design Group, these awards were made from a wooden shell. The shell was filled with plaster to give the award substance and weight. The graphics and text on the sides of the award were produced using a dye-sublimation process. A clear coat was applied as a finish to the award.
