Forde in Gungahlin is a joint venture development between the Land Development Agency, Delfin and Canberra Investment Corporation (CIC).
This master planned community is located close by Canberra’s CBD. Forde is situated to take advantage of the area’s existing amenities. The nearby Gungahlin Town Centre is conveniently located.
Dedicated to creating a genuine sense of community and a respect for the surrounding natural bushland, Forde has a strong focus on sustainability.
Screenmakers were approached by CIC to produce displays and signage to provide prospective residents with a better understanding of the new development when they visit the suburb.
The work carried out for the project included :
- VF (Vehicle Fast) Signs -
These signs, consist of tubular steel frames to which a double sided 3mm Dibond panel is attached. The graphics for the sign were printed to vinyl and laminated for protection from vandalism. The 100x50mm upright posts were installed into ground sleeves to allow for future removal.
- Pedestrian Signs -
These signs were installed for pedestrians to navigate around the display area. The graphics were printed onto adhesive vinyl and laminated. They were then attached to 3mm Dibond panels and secured to upright posts.
- Builders Boards -
These sign panels were used to identify and describe display homes built for the Forde display area. The signs are produced from Dibond with graphics printed onto vinyl and laminated for protection from graffiti.
- Entry Banners -
Located at the entrance to the estate, these double sided banners were made from direct printed vinyl, attached to onsite posts and stabilised using self tensioning fastners.
