This inviting sign located at the entrance to Springbank Rise, a 2011 development in Casey, Canberra incorporates a custom built rock and block work wall.
Each of the letters of the words "Springbank Rise" in the sign were individually created using water jet cutting technology. The letters were cut out of solid 25mm thick Corten steel prepared with in a rusted finish. The coloured logo on the rear wall of the sign was cut out of 5mm aluminium in corporate colours. The logo was then pin fixed to the block wall.
The " Casey" type sitting beneath was produced from 3mm stainless steel and then pin fixed to the rock wall.
Some very colourfull flora was planted at the base of the sign to let nature add some colour to the sign.
