Stromlo Forest Park is an exceptional recreational and sporting facility available to both casual and professional users. The park features a purpose-built event pavilion, criterium cycling circuit, grass cross-country running loop, equestrian trails, walking trails and mountain bike tracks to suit everyone from beginners to elite.
The venue, located just seven kilometres from the city centre, is also capable of hosting national and international events – including the upcoming UCI Mountain Bike and Trials World Championships in September.
With the Park offering so many different facilities in a natural bushland setting, appropriate signage is vital in providing clear directions for navigation throughout the park, upholding safety standards and general maintenance of the facility.
The signage at Stromlo Forest Park was designed by the Swell Design Group on behalf of Territory Venues and Events and produced by Screenmakers.
Among the signage created for the Park were arrival statements at all entrance points, a central signage hub to allow users to take in all the information necessary to then move on to their activity of interest, coming events, activity-specific signage, warning signs, trail difficulty ratings, cross-country running distance markers, car parking, individual trail identification and a bushfire memorial.
